About Belong at Work

Founded in 2021, Belong at Work exists for the purpose of growing equity and fairness in the world, starting with workplaces. Our founder had a long career in multiple sectors leading diversity inclusion, culture change and leadership development as well as training to become a Person-Centred counsellor.

We bring both worlds of organisational development and psychology to our approach. We use decades of experience and successful impact in business, coupled with knowledge of how to help people and change behaviours.

Inclusive Leadership Coaching and Development

Making a genuine difference to diversity and inclusion takes strong leadership. But all too often, leaders lack the confidence and capability to show the visible commitment needed. We offer:

  • 1:1 and group coaching - providing a safe, non-judgemental space to improve knowledge and skill.

Our Founder

Our founder is Emma Brown. Before setting up Belong at Work, Emma worked as a senior HR leader in public, charity and private sector organisations, including Places for People, Zoological Society of London, Waterstones, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, and Topshop. She is a qualified leadership coach and person-centred counsellor. She has volunteered as a counsellor and also runs a small private practice alongside Belong at Work.

Emma has extensive training and qualifications in her field. She has led teams to win numerous awards for culture change, leadership development and employee engagement.
